One of the most popular acts. Sandra has worked at the venue for 25 years in various disguises, but its on her own that she shines. A natural ability to have a crowd in stitches means you never really know what she is going to do, except that its going to be hilarious.
Mixing comedy and singing some of the most popular songs around, Sandra is one whore you’ll gladly pay to spend time with.

DAVE LYNN:  The DraG QUEEN OF DRAG QUEENS
A legend in her own lifetime, this performer has achieved a huge amount over the years,and shows no signs of slowing down. She has made several appearances on TV including the award winning episode of FAKING IT, as well as SILENT WITNESS, CORONATION STREET and DOCTORS. She has also starred in numerous theatre productions also. A great voice and comedian, a treat to watch.

TITTI LA CAMP:  ViSUAL COMEDIENNE EXTRAORDINAire
Winner of the Black Cap talent contest in ‘93, Titti has gone on to be one of the most successful acts who began at this venue. With her own style of madcap mime and fast costume changes, she packs a lot into her time on stage.
An organizer of the annual DRAG IDOL competition and one of the creative driving forces behind the DOLLY MIXTURES shows, Titti can be often seen bringing mayhem to the masses. Unforgettable!

KANDI KANE BAXTER:  DELICIOUSLY DEMENTED!
The comedy creation of Charlie Hides, this brash American millionairess is one of sharpest and funniest characters seen in years. More balls than Joan Rivers, and equally as funny. This is entertainment at its very best. Classy.

THE DRAG WITH NO NAME: .... BUT PLENTY OF AWARD WINNING TITLES!
The “Drag with No Name” of “DWNN” for short, has taken the scene by storm since her first appearance a few years ago. Highly in demand due to her great voice and hilarious comedy, she is an act that demands to be seen again and again.

LAQUISHA JONZ:  HOOTCHIE MOMMA
Another creation from the mind of performer Charlie Hides. Laquisha Jonz is the mother of three and star of several films of dubious repute! From the trailer parks of the US of A to the council estates of the UK, this woman leaves a trail of hilarity in her wake. Can often been seen fronting her own game show “Bling Blang Blong” Laquisha’s talents are almost as big as her weave!

LIZZY DRIP: THE PUPPET MASTER
Lizzy’s act is a MUST to see. Winner of many awards, Lizzy offers pure theatre with some of the most dazzling and inventive costumes you will ever see. With a multitude of different characters, you’ll never look upon RIVERDANCE or the WIZARD OF OZ the same again.
Outside the cabaret circuit Lizzy has appeared in several stage plays and made numerous TV appearances.

ROSE GARDEN: THE DRAG TERRORIST
Hailing from Northern Ireland, this lady takes no prisoners. Mixing comedy, song and audience participation, she offers a riotous show. All this, and she has the best legs in the business too! Just a word of warning .... beware of her lethal hula hoop!

CRYSTAL WAIDE: GLAMOUR AND SONG
Crystal returns to the Black Cap after a break to once again add true glamour to our venue. Her outfits are amazing as is her voice and all this is balanced with her wicked humour. This lady does it all including fire eating! Winner of the second “Weakest Link” Drag Queen special, Crystal is a smart cookie too!

LA GATEAU CHOCOLAT: THE OPERATIC DIVA
The newest member of the family came to our attention in the 2007 season of DRAG IDOL and instantly claimed her place as one of the leading acts on the scene. A stunning performer with a trained operatic voice and outlandish costuming gives this lady a demanding stage presence. Very highly recommended.

KELLY WILDE: THE AUSTRALIAN BELTER
The most successful female artist on the scene EVER. Kelly has been performing at this venue
for more than 25 years. Her achievements are too many to mention and she has worked with some of the best in the business. Highly energetic show, Kelly never fails to blow an audience away. Her version of Laura Brannigans GLORIA has become her theme tune.

JACQUII CANN: THE MOTHER OF ALL SINGERS
The only other female who can command the stage at the Black Cap. Jacquii Cann won ITV’s STARS IN THE EYES tv show as an Alison Moyet impersonator, but has over the years found her own voice too, so she can sing a catalogue of hits both old and new. Always a delight.

THE BOY GEORGE EXPERIENCE: THE REAL THING
The best tribute artist working today. Covering the full catalogue of songs from the days of Culture Club to Boy George’s work as a solo artist. Not only does his voice have an uncanny likeness but he also delivers great wit and charisma.

MRS MOORE:  STAR OF MMTV
Our very own little stick of Dynamite. Mrs Moore reigned supreme ever Wednesday throughout 2007 and will return again in 2008. Multi talented, her show mixes live and mime to stunning effect. Her SHIRLEY BASSEY and her never ending boa is hilarious. Another member of the DOLLY MIXTURES for the last seven years.

MILLIE TURNER: SIMPLY THE BEST
Millie Turner has a long association performing at the Cap and is highly regarded amongst her fellow artists as one of the best mime artists ever. Her TINA TURNER is the best tribute you will ever see ... guaranteed. Unfortunately, Millie has a successful career outside Drag so her performances are few and far between but catch her when you can. An original member of the DOLLY MIXTURES.

LADY IMELDA: THE VOICE FROM THEATRELAND

This ever so slightly crazy lady has built up a reputation of processing, perhaps, the best voice
in the business. Has appeared in several West End musicals including ‘Miss Siagon’ and ‘The King and I and can also be seen in the Starburst adverts running on the TV .. a lady of many talents!

CK: CRYSTAL DECANTER AND KELLY MILD: DOUBLE THE FUN

These two young ladies are the newest and freshest stars on the cabaret circuit. Both started off on the Drag Idol competition with Crystal Decanter (the Diana Dors Clone) finishing second in the grand final of the very first competition, and Kelly Mild (the Helen Mirren clone) winning the third competition outright. Together they are phenomenal and are set to dominate the scene for years to come.

TANYA HYDE: RISING STAR
The winner of Drag Idol 2008 continues her climb to fame with regular appearances here at the Black Cap. At only 21, Tanya has the voice and stage craft of someone many years older. Singing songs from a range of styles, this lady proves the entertainment scene has a great future.

MANDY GAP: THE BATTERSEA BOMBSHELL

Another welcome addition here, is this well connected lady of song and comedy. Highly camp and blessed with a great singing voice, you’ll fall in love with her at first sight, though please take into account that she IS married!

TRINDY: GLAM ROCKER

Looking to party and let your hair down? Then look out for Lady Trindy who belts out of the hits from the seventies by such artists as Bowie, Bolan, Sweet etc. A veteran of the club scene from the eighties, Trindy has “resided” at the Black Cap from many years now and so knows what you like! Guaranteed.

LINDA VAN CARTIER :DISCO DIVA

Another lady that belts out the hits from the seventies but this time its DISCO! A recent addition to the stable of performers we have here at the Black Cap, Linda has brought the house down on every one of her appearances. So get your platforms on and give her a try!
